What does editake actually do?
You record normally — mistakes, pauses and repeated takes included. editake finds the usable parts and automatically builds a cleaner first edit, ready to review and post.
Do I need to stop recording when I make a mistake?
No. Keep recording. editake is built to remove failed attempts and repeated takes, so just say the line again and keep going.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can try any plan free for 3 days before the paid subscription begins.
What is Batch Import?
On Creator and Unlimited, you can upload or select several recordings at once and editake processes them one after another, instead of you handling each video separately. It's how you edit your daily batch in one go.
Which plans include the Teleprompter?
Creator and Unlimited. Starter doesn't include the Teleprompter.
Which plan should I choose?
Starter: for occasional creators who edit one video at a time.
Creator: for daily creators — TikTok Shop, UGC and anyone posting often. It's the plan we recommend.
Unlimited: for high-volume creators and power users.
Is Unlimited really unlimited?
Yes, for normal creator use. Extreme automated or abusive usage may be subject to fair-use limits.
What languages does editake support?

Does editake upload my full video to the cloud?
Not in the editake app. Your original video normally stays on your device, where you preview and export it. For the analysis, we send the data we need: compressed audio, a small preview thumbnail, and processing data.
Can I use editake for TikTok Shop?
Yes. editake is made for TikTok Shop videos, UGC, Reels, Shorts and any talking-head video.
Can I edit the result manually?
Yes. editake makes the first cut and you stay in control — restore, delete or trim anything you like.
What happens if editake is unsure about a cut?
When it isn't confident enough to remove something, editake leaves it in the video for you to review instead of deleting it on its own.
Does editake replace CapCut?
You don't need it to post. editake already does what a video needs to be ready: it removes the mistakes, pauses and bad takes, and lets you add captions, text and images, trim, and export. If you want extra effects or styling, you can still take the clean video into CapCut or any other editor.
